Looking for any leads that may help me find more informaiton on my great-grandmother Lydia Annie Fee. She was born in New Washington, PA in 1866 and died in 1959. I know nothing on her heritage except for some family lore. Some of the tales I have heard over the years are: 1. She was full blood American Indian, no clue what tribe and adopted by the Fee family.

2. Her mother was "compromised" by a Cornplanter Indian

3. Her father was "Cornplanter" lots of tales, but no facts except for birth and death dates. The elders of the family remaining (her children) won't speak of it. When we try to bring up the subject, we are sh-h-h-hed and the subject changed. I have been very successful in finding lots of data on her husband and his ancestors, so this is important to me and my children. any clues where to look would be appreciated
