i have a friend who is 76 years old and is 1/2 schaghticoke. her mother was full schaghiticolke. she does not live on the reservation, she lives in new milford, the next town over. her family use to be very active in tribal pow wows, but due to lack of transportation, she has not been to any in a very long time.
