The family has been told that we are direct descendants to Mangas Coloradas, Cochise, and through inter-tribe marriage Geronimo. This information was told to us by a tribal lawyer but the family financially can't afford the attorney fees to get the process started of becoming Federally and tribal recognized. What can we do? Is there a lawyer that can handle the case on contingency? If so, please reply and advise.
